Privacy notice

The prototype is operated by Strategihub Global Enterprises, Inc. (StrategiHub). Contact details are at the end of this page. The final notice will add the Ghana operating entity, its Data Protection Commission registration details where applicable, the services covered, and the effective date.

Information collected

• Account and contact information
• Operator, driver, vehicle, licensing, insurance, and verification evidence
• Passenger searches, pickup requests, orders, tickets, scans, and support history
• Precise driver and vehicle location during active route runs
• Passenger foreground location, only when voluntarily used for nearby discovery
• Device, security, diagnostics, and communication records
• Payment references and status received from the payment provider. The platform should not collect mobile money PINs.

Purposes

The notice will explain each purpose separately: authentication, service discovery, pickup coordination, route operations, ticketing, payment confirmation, fraud prevention, support, safety, verification, legal compliance, reporting, and product improvement. Unrelated purposes will not be combined under vague language.

Sharing

The notice will describe information shared with the passenger's selected operator, assigned drivers and dispatchers, payment providers, mapping, hosting, communications, security and support vendors, professional advisers, and authorities when lawfully required. Exact access depends on purpose and role.

Location

The notice will state when tracking begins and ends, who can see exact or approximate positions, how passenger-facing positions may be delayed or reduced in precision, the consequences of denying permission, and the approved retention period. See also the driver location tracking notice.

In this prototype, a passenger's location is requested only when they choose Use my location. It is used for that one search and is not stored.

Retention and choices

The notice will describe retention by data class, account access and correction, deletion or objection requests, location and notification controls, complaint channels, and lawful limitations for financial, safety, dispute, or regulatory records.

Security and transfers

The notice will describe safeguards without making absolute promises. Hosting locations and cross-border transfers will be identified only after providers and the production architecture are approved.

Changes and contact

The notice will explain how material changes are announced, the version history, the privacy contact, the support contact, and how to complain to the appropriate regulator.
